Blade of Agony is a story-driven FPS. The project is inspired by WWII shooters from the 90's and early 2000's, like Wolfenstein 3D, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty, but with faster-paced gameplay in the spirit of Doom!
Blade of Agony is much more than just a pastiche of the classic shooters that inspired it; the project offers a unique experience with many features not often seen in free fangames:

- Voice acting and ambient soundscapes

I have a slight problem with the standalone version. The homepage says I just have to extract the ipk3 to use regular gzdoom, but it doesn't work, it states:
"Script error, boa.ipk3::cvarinfo.txt line 7: cvar 'boa_bidiswitch' already exists"
I tried with all the files extracted, and with the ipk3 standalone in a folder.
If I use it as a PWAD, it warns me, as it should (thanx for the extra work with it), seems to work, though.
I would rather not use the standalone version in wine, and I think I speak for other non-win users, too.
can I borrow a couple of other textures from you for my fashion, for half life? although I already noticed that some of my textures are the same. But I took them from another mod

Wow, I just stumbled upon this, ready to go. Sadly I have a graphics issue, I have red lines surrounding all the textures, it looks really weird. I have a nvidia RTX 30 series gpu. Any idea what could cause this? Did not change any of the graphics settings.
Try to update the driver.
You can also try different renderer.
The mod was well tested on many many different comps of many different testers, and we didn't have this issue.
I'm seeing the same issue with my 2070. I'll play around with it and see what I can figure out. For reference, this is what it looks like with everything set to beautiful and all my drivers updates:

Switching to vulkan fixes it.

We saw this issue on my machine during development, but it cleared up after a driver upgrade. It was also only present with the OpenGL renderer, not the Vulkan renderer.
Disabling color grading is indeed the work-around if you cannot change to using the Vulkan renderer.

I have this problem on 1070 too.
On the GZDoom startup menu you can change it to either OpenGL, Vulkan or Software renderer, but if you're lauching it with ZDL or SSGL, then when you're in-game, you should go to Options->Full options menu->Display options, or just Options->Display options, it should be one of those two. The renderer option should be right at the top. Holy **** did I say options a lot lmao

hi tormentor667, first thing this mod is fr*&kn; awesome, great work and it sure does show. Just one problem (minor) is when you kill scorpion C1E6 grabdrauger level it crashes? just curious for a fix or even a work around? cheers. BTW keep up awesome work. :)
LOL just found fix. You disable the score mutator before you launch game and walleh no crash. :)
